Be Positive Blood Donation Group Kerala is a voluntary, community-driven blood donation initiative and humanitarian collective active across Kerala and among expatriate Malayali communities (including GCC chapters)

The group operates on a peer-to-peer, volunteer-led model aimed at bridging the critical gap between blood banks/patients and eligible donors during medical emergencies.

♥ Core Objectives & Activities 

• Emergency Blood Donor Coordination:

Rapidly connecting patients, hospital bystanders, and medical centres with matching voluntary blood and platelet donors across Kerala.

Handling urgent requests for common and rare blood groups, single-donor platelets (SDP), and whole blood for major surgeries, trauma care, oncological treatments, and thalassemia patients.

• Organizing Blood Donation Camps:

Partnering with major government, cooperative, and private medical college hospitals, district blood banks, and cancer centres to host targeted voluntary blood donation camps.

• Public Awareness & Motivator Networks:

Promoting voluntary, non-remunerated regular blood donation through social media drives, helpline networks, and awareness meets.

Maintaining active networks of donor motivators and youth coordinators to respond swiftly to SOS calls.

• Diaspora & GCC Chapters:

Extending its community network to expatriate Malayalis (such as chapters in Qatar and other Gulf regions), where volunteers collaborate with local healthcare entities for regular blood donation camps.
